Shooting Fish in Modern Online FPS Games

Many online FPS's these days include the fish shooter objective. The goal of the game is to shoot fish using a wide variety of weapons that can be obtained in the game. In this article I will review some of the games and compare their fish shooter objectives to a real life one.


Star Wars: Battlefront II has the fish shooter objective of destroying rocks in order to prevent other players from landing on them. This is accomplished by shooting the rocks with your blaster. When these rocks are destroyed the opposing team can land and use them as landing pads. This gives you an advantage because if your opponent lands on a protected landing pad you will have to restart from where you were and the other team can simply take your precious land.

Take On Helicopters has the shooter objective of being able to fly and shoot down helicopters that are trying to attack you. You can also use your main weapon to blow up the helicopter and kill the pilots and crew that fly it. Just remember that if you get shot down you need to get out of the helicopter before you crash and die.

Half Life 2 has the fish shooter objective of trying to survive against the odds and fend off waves of enemies. You can use your primary weapon to shoot up at them and they will eventually turn and try to come after you. The only problem with this type of game is you really just need to stand still and let them get close and pray that they don't get to you.

Doom 3 has the objective of killing demons. They can come at you from all angles and shoot all sorts of things. You can use your secondary weapon to shoot down the demons as they try to enter the level but you can also use them for cover. You can stand between them and the door to your final area which will save you from some demons that may try to rush through it.

Call of Duty: Black Ops has the shooter objective of getting through all of the levels and assassinating the leaders of the opposing team. It is up to you to move through each level unscathed and go to the other side of the map where the final level is located. It's important to keep track of the times you have left on each level so you know when to stop so you don't run out of time and get killed.

One Last Mission has the shooter objective of flying and firing at the enemies. To do this you will need to get the gun out of the cockpit and aim it at the enemy as you keep an eye on the clock. Once you have successfully hit the enemy you can shoot the other enemies as well and you should be able to make it through the level without any problems.
